We live in maine but I am from virginia beach and would like to plan our honeymoon for a few days at busch gardens in williamsburg, virginia. I’m not sure what would be cheaper, to pay for an airline ticket on priceline including a hotel, or just to drive? And if we take a plane, are there buses to go from the airport, to the hotel, to the park?

First off: Where are you coming from? It may be closer to drive if you live just a state away. However, if you are on the left coast, you should fly.
Some hotels offer a shuttle service to Bush Gardens. Make sure you confirm with each hotel that they do have an active shuttle service. I stayed at a hotel years ago that, on paper, said they had a shuttle service (and gym) and when I got there they no longer had either.
On that note, I do not know of any hotel with a bus service to the airport. There may be one, but generally it is rare. (When I got married, the only reason our hotel had a bus service to the airport was because of our wedding package.)
Honestly, I suggest that you bring a car. There is a lot to do down there. You will probably want to go out to dinner, or go shopping, or see the historical sights. Heck, Virginia Beach is less than an hour’s drive from Williamsburg.
If you give more detail in your question, I can see if I can research a better answer for you.
I hope that this helps.
Good luck!
