What’s the best place to be for the first time in Edinburgh?
I will be in Edinburgh for the first time from May 7th to 10th and like to know what are the best areas (streets, avenues etc) I should give special attention in order to book a hotel. Thanks.

I’d like to stay at a bed and breakfast, but hotels work, too. I will basically go with whatever is cheapest. I’m traveling in a group of 4. Also, no hostels please. Any suggestions?

I’m going to edinburgh with a friend for three nights over easter. i realise its not going 2 b cheap. we would like to stay in a hotel rather than a hostel but are conscious about price (we r both students!!!) any ideas would be much appreciated. i’ve never been to scotland b4, so we will probably go to glasgow too. what are the best things to do in ether or both cities? cheers.
