Surprise for My boyfriend in Edinburgh?
Hi, Its the first birthday I am spending with my boyfriend and we are going to Glasgow for 2 nights and 2 nights in Edinburgh. Can someone reccomend what to do for a surprise – a nice wine tasting place? An Indoor skydiving place? any links that would be good to look at to find out what is around? We have the hotels booked and flights but want ideas for what to do in the day? Any romantic things? Thank you

Interesting places to visit around Edinburgh?
We are going to Edinburgh for a wedding in August but because of the Fringe Festival the hotels are really expensive. Does anyone know of any interesting towns near Edinburgh (within 3 hours drive) that we can go visit?
Where is good for Breakfast in Edinburgh?
My girlfriend and I are going to Edinburgh for some New Years Eve festivities, and we’ve just seen that breakfast isn’t included at our hotel, and that it’s £17.50 each! So that’d be £70 just on breakfast! (We’re staying two nights) Not too keen to pay that, so if anyone’s either local, or has been to Edinburgh and has had a nice breakfast then I’d love to hear some suggestions! (Oh and post code/address/website/phone numbers is possible!)
Family stuff to do in Edinburgh at night?
We’re going to Edinburgh on Monday for a few days and we need stuff to do at night, so we’re not bored sitting in the hotel doing nothing. We have a 10-year-old, a 5-year-old and a 14-year-old. Preferably something not too expensive, but I don’t mind.

I am looking for a good place to stay in Edinburgh. My family and I will be visiting in the end of July. My daughters are 11 and 8. I need some where that isn’t too expensive. Anyone stayed at the Spiegel Apartments in Edinburgh before? What were they like?
I plan to go to Edinburgh at July. Checked lots of websites and found this apartment in a surprisingly low price. However, I looked this apartment up on google and couldn’t find any customer review for this (tried hotel.com, tripadvisor, etc.! Kind of wondering that why this apartment looked very nice and big on pictures but promoted at low price and no reviews.
