One response to “What hotels are near the A-Ma temple in Macau?”

Almost all of the hotels in Macau are near the tourist attractions as the main section is only about 2 kms wide and about 4kms long from NE to SW. There are 53 hotels in Macau on the Budget Flights website with 4* hotel prices starting from $56 USD per night.
Macau is extremely crowded but the public transport is fast and cheap and the local buses will take you anywhere you need to go but the drivers dont speak english though.
I would also suggest a visit to the Venetian Casino if only to see the grandeur of the place. The Macau Tower has excellent views and has a skywalk around the outside. There are also many restaurants specialising in the famous “Macanese” cooking which is like dim sim meets peri-peri in a blend of chinese and portuguese cooking styles.
Near the old ruins of St Pauls Cathedral built by the Portuguese (and right under the museum which is worth a look), the streets are all cobble stone is an old european style and there are lots of groovy shops and some markets nearby which are fun.
    Hope this helps!
