Planing a special day out…need help!?

I’m 21. She’s 20. I have planned to take my crush out for a day. She’s a girl…in case you ask! And this is gonna be sorta an expensive one. That’d be the day I’d ask her to be my girl. It may be a dinner or a lunch, depending on how she’s gonna be comfortable with. She won’t know a thing until she actually experiences it. Anyway, she has already agreed on coming with me. She thinks I’m gonna give her my birthday treat!

This is about how I’m gonna do it. I need some advices in regard…because I want her to love it and THIS to be perfect!

The place I’ve chosen is one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. A Five-Star Hotel in Colombo. I have already visited the place and this is gonna take place on the 14th floor. The hotel stays right infront of the Galle Face beach in western Colombo. There’s only about 2 meters to the shore from the hotel. So it’s really really and REALLY close. Didn’t pick ‘Hilton’ for the fact that it’s a little bit far off from the sea and it doesn’t have a clear view of the ocean.The scenery from the hotel I’ve picked is beautiful through those wide glass panes all the way down from the top to bottom. And the dusk from there is heavenly! The table I’m gonna reserve will have a vase full of her favorite flowers (wine red roses), and a bowl of white chocolates (she loves ‘em) and her favourite music will be playing softly.

She would not know a thing about where she would be going until I remove her blind folds! =) Yeah, and she’s gonna be blind folded all the way in the car or from half way (I’d probably hire a nice taxi or something sometimes) and all the way through the hotel’s lobby and all the way to that glass pane on 14th floor! That’s when I’d remove her blind folds (I saved one of those that they give on air planes to sleep wearing LOL) and see what happens to her face! I’m gonna get her to keep listening to my iPod while in the taxi, so that she won’t hear me giving directions to the dirver! Heh heh…

She’s a vegetarian. So I’d arrange a veg buffet, as discussed with the hotel person I met ,who would help me with the whole customization process and video/photo shooting. I prefer evidence than memories which can vanish eventually.

After we have the meals, I’m gonna ask her to dance with me. It’s gonna be a slow, romantic one with limited cuzzin. Please suggest some good songs or music tracks to which u can dance ballroom like the ones in that movie called “SHALL WE DANCE?”. So, after the music track ends, that’s where I’d pause and pop the question. Do I have to kneel before her for that? Cause, I’m not proposing her for engagement. I wonder if that would be appropriate.

Please tell me if there are any modifications I have to do to make the day more special. And help me with the songs and a pose for popping the question. Besides, what kind of attrire is suitable? Don’t forget that she’d be unaware of where she’d be going.

The reason behind why I’m doing all this, is that I want her to love remembering the way I asked. I want her to know how special she is. And I want her to know how much I love her…
