I’m 16, but will be 17 by the time I go to sharm el sheikh in egypt. i will have a friend of the same age as me too, and also a friend who will be 18 years old.
We are wondering if/how we can book or reserve a hotel, and can they turn us away at check in?
i believe i have heard from friends it is 21 years to book the hotel.
thanks for your time
It is 16, i used to book rooms in different hotels in sharm as soon as I had an ID card and that was when i turned 16.
As long as u have your passport and over 16, u wont have any problems, it is also better to have a credit card with u, some hotels require one for post accomodation expenses.
Well to fly on most airlines you need a lead passenger of 18 so you will be OK as one of your group will be 18 but they will have to book all the tickets. So i would say you have to be 18 to boom rooms but not all 18 just one of you. Me and my friend had our own room in Sharm i was 17 she was 18 but we didn’t book the room we had people 18 and older so i think the 18 year old in your group would have to book the room.
