About beer : In Belgium we have more than 760 different beers, so…….
meat = viande / vlees
fish = poisson / vis
Egg = oeuf / ei
Vegetarian = Vegetarien / Vegetarier
Here’s the easiest way to pronounce the French ones as an anglophone:
Brussels:
1. O-tell duh veel
2. Moo-zay doo cah-cah-oh ay doo shah-co-lah
3. Boors

6. (Easier to call his by his other name, Petit Julien)
7. Pah-lay Roy-al

(Try kreik, its brilliant)
French for meat is viande, fish is poisson, egg is oeuf, and vegetarian is vegetarien(ne).
Maybe you should write those words on a piece of paper rather than use those strange phonetic words I’ve just seen … because in Belgium some people speak French, others Dutch and others German … Good luck if you don’t pronounce the word properly. Just write it down and ask someone to say it loud for you. It might be easier !
