We’re going on a girl friend trip to HK,(only 3 days) but we all want to stay in the same room. Since there are 4 of us, are the rooms standard double beds or are they twin size beds like we have in college dorm rooms. We’re small people.
Since money is an issue please recommend a hotel that can accommodate us.
Thanks
We are trying to get 2 full or stanard beds in one room. That way we can sleep 2 to each bed.

You would normally get a room with two double beds, not 4 twin beds.
It is possible to get two queen size beds.
It is not easy to get room with 2 Queen beds for 4 persons. Normal is usually a double room with a king or queen size bed and you need to get & pay for extra bed for extra person. Check with the hotel before any committment. Get the list from the Tourist Board.
Depends on the hotel – hotel rooms are small in Hong Kong, even smaller than downtown Manhattan hotels.
You should be able to get 2 twin beds…and may be standard. Definitely not two queens.
The Evergreen Hotel in Kowloon (just a few minutes walk from Jordon MTR) has rooms with four twin beds. It’s a small, family-run budget hotel that has internet access. Breakfast included in the rates. One block away from the Temple Street Night Market, yet still very quiet. I have stayed there several years with my husband and two young children. (Thus, this is the reason we wanted at least three beds . . . kids are squirmy!)
At any rate, check them out: http://www.evergreenhotel.com
If their four-bed room doesn’t show up on the website, then don’t hesitate to call them (via Skype) or send them an email asking about it.
You can also consider the Yes Inn near Fortress Hill MTR. They have a wide variety of rooms. I’ve stayed in their Mongkok location, and have friends who have stayed in the Fortress Hill location. http://www.yesinn.com/inn/e_yesinn_aboutus.htm
Enjoy!
