Browse: Home / H10 Hotels / How much money do I need for a week in London?
By admin on December 22, 2010
I’m going to London for a week 13th of March with my boyfriend, I’ll be there for St. Patricks Day, I want to go to Thorpe Park, London Eye, London Zoo, Madama Tussauds, Pubs & Clubs at night (not every night) Also, maybe a little shopping (in primark) lol. I’ve already booked and paid for hotel + flights so just wondering how much i’ll need for spending? Staying at H10 hotel Waterloo, is this far from Piccadilly Circus?

For the both of you, i’d bring at least 500 pounds. London is expensive –especially the touristy stuff. Eating out, shopping and touristy things can add up pretty quickly. Have fun!
I would definitely bring around £800 for the both of you. The tourist attractions are quite expensive and if you want to go the more exclusive bars and clubs (Movida, Mahiki) then it will easily cost 200 pounds. One thing you should budget for is travel around London, the best idea would be to get a weekly travel card. Also, Waterloo is very close to Piccadilly Circus, only one stop on the Bakerloo tube line.
London is expensive, so given the food, drinks, gifts, entertainment, shopping – lots of shopping, I would think about 800 pounds for the both of you. Just limit how much you would spend per day.
