The Barri Gothic is a romantic place altogether. Your hotel is about a five minute walk from the Gothic Cathedral…
If you are religious, the front steps of the cathedral itself would be an awe inspiring place…They are absolutely magnificent as is the cathedral!

If you are not very religious, walk in the opposite direction and take her for a walk on La Rambla, (heading in the direction of La Plaça de Catalunya and further on to El Passeig de Gracia), when you are in the area where all the florists are, buy her a red rose…and pop the question! Or look for a small restaurant and have a romantic dinner, etc.

Or take her up to the top of Montjuic, the views of the city are fantastic.
Good luck! I hope she says yes (I’d love to know if she does!!!)… :-)

    Hi Friend,
Barcelona is a wonderful place and second largest city in Spain.
I personally think that La Rambla, is the best attrative site in Barcelona. You can find more info on http://www.yourkeytospain.co.uk/

    Thanks

I would say the Gothic Cathedral! But take care, it’s not a good area. Maybe the sun set would be a great moment, not too dark…Although it’s not in the center, I think the most romantic place to propose for me would be El Mirablau, a beatutiful bar/cafe in Tibidabo and not as touristy as Rambals and the Gothic area. You can easily get a train to Peu del Funicular station (from Plaza Cataluña) and then get the funicular to go up there. The views are really amazing and it’s quite posh. Well, maybe it would be easier to get a taxi
