want to stay destin area. but flexible. want something super close to beach and under 0. doesnt seem to exist. anyone one know of any gems in the rough type hotels i might be overlooking?

I used to live in Destin and it’s an expensive place to stay at! It’s beautiful though.
Have you tried looking through craigslist? go to www.pensacola.craigslist.org and look at the vacation rentals.
On hotwire, I just picked a random date two weeks in advance, since you didn’t list a date, and it said that a 2 star place IN Destin, was $84/nite.
Look around. It’ll help. Use discount codes, etc.
In Destin there are only 2 hotels right on the beach. That makes the rates go up pretty high in the summer. I would go to Pensacola Beach. The beaches are the same as Destin and it is only located 45 minutes away. Pensacola Beach is kind of a hidden gem on the Panhandle.
