Hard to say the real reason.

I suppose with the amount of bars that are here in Bahrain it would be difficult to raid them all in a short space of time to be effective.

Also I have wondered if sometimes a blind eye is turned to these activities as it might be a reason that people are drawn here at weekends ? Other than the relaxed atmosphere and the availability of alcohol of course.

Why should they ? The world’s oldest profession is virtually impossible to stop, unless by brutal repression- such as raiding all the hotels !

Anyone believing that prostitution must and can be stopped is living in a fools paradise.

Have you ever considered the possibility of increased rape in case there are no prostitutes??

Well, they can stop it if they really really want. But then this would call for strict measures, raids, etc. Giving death penalty to the rapist will keep the rape cases low, and teach people to behave.

my friend, most of these hotels are owned by Big shots in bahrain, and the ones they raid are the ones without a license or the ones that people with no “name” or connection tend to open. try to look in a hotel directory who the owners of those “hotels” are, you will be very surprised, i know i was and noone believed me until i showed them. now its your turn to find out.
